PF Phililippines: 2012 Annual Reunion at the Feast of the Founder

SANCTUARY OF SAINT PAUL, MAKATI — Over 200 members of the  Pauline Family in the Philippines and Macau gather in a liturgy on November 25, 2012 at the Sanctuary of St. Paul, to celebrate the Feast of the Founder – Blessed James Alberione. In this  Eucharistic Celebration, the latest to be ordained priest Fr. Ian Empig, SSP,  presider and homilist,  elaborates the ideas of Alberione giving out the light to the world in this Year of Faith through the mnemonic device, DOORS. He says, “Our faith today need more D-ependence on God’s providence;O-bedience founded on humility; O-penness to the endless possibilities of what tomorrow may bring (Hope); R-ootedness in and radical following of Christ, and S-ilence as a way to attentive listening.”
