The apostle, with his publications, must bring light to all who have erred and make straight the way of their return to the Catholic Church. He does so with fraternal charity, with the goodness of the Good Shepherd who seeks out the lost sheep, takes it on his shoulders and brings it back to the fold (UPS IV, 119).
