For the time is coming when people will no longer endure sound doctrine, but in their eagerness to hear what is new they will accumulate for themselves teachers after their own liking. And they will abandon the truth to hear myths. So be always prudent, put up with suffering, give yourself to your work of preaching the Gospel, fulfil your ministry. He reproached them for their unbelief and stubbornness in refusing to believe those who had seen him after he had risen. Then he told them, \u201cGo out to the whole world and proclaim the Good News to all creation. He who believes and is baptised will be saved; he who refuses to believe will be condemned. Signs like these will accompany those who believe: in my Name they will cast out demons and speak new languages; they will pick up snakes in their hands and, if they drink anything poisonous, they will not be hurt. They will lay hands on the sick and they will be healed.\u201d The Gospel of the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Prayer over the Offerings<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Lord, accept these gifts from your people. May the Eucharist we offer to your glory in memory of Blessed James Alberione help us on our way to salvation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Preface<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Lord be with you.\u00a0 <\/strong>=\u00a0 And with your spirit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lift up your hearts. <\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">\u00a0 = \u00a0\u00a0 We lift them up to the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. <\/strong>= \u00a0 It is right and just.<br \/>\nFather, all-powerful and ever-living God, we do well always and everywhere to give you thanks.<br \/>\nYou give the Church this feast in honour of Blessed James Alberione who dedicated his life to Jesus the Master, and to spreading his good news in all the world through modern media.<br \/>\nYou appointed him founder and father of a family of apostles.<br \/>\nIn his life you give us an example of growing in holiness and of the hope of the world to come.<br \/>\nNow with all the angels and saints we sing our unending hymn of praise:<\/p>\n<p><strong>All: Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts &#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Communion Antiphon <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It is no longer I who live; it is Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Gal 2:20)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Prayer after Communion<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Lord, we receive the bread of heaven as we honour the memory of Blessed James Alberione.
