throughout the world<br \/>\nthrough the misuse<br \/>\nof the media of social communication;<\/li>\n<li>to implore your mercy for those persons,<br \/>\nwho are deceived and seduced<br \/>\nby the influence of these instruments<br \/>\nand are led astray from your fatherly love;<\/li>\n<li>for the conversion of those<br \/>\nwho in the use of these instruments<br \/>\nreject the teaching of Christ<br \/>\nand his Church,<br \/>\npoisoning the minds, the hearts,<br \/>\nand the undertakings of others;<\/li>\n<li>that everyone may follow him alone<br \/>\nwhom you Father, in your boundless love,<br \/>\nsent into the world, saying:<br \/>\n\u201cThis is my beloved Son, listen to him\u201d;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/span> <a sharing in your own life;<\/li>\n<li>that in the Church there may be<br \/>\nan increase in the number of priests,<br \/>\nreligious, and lay persons who,<br \/>\nconsecrated as apostles,<br \/>\nusing the means of social communication,<br \/>\nwill make the message of salvation<br \/>\nresound throughout the world;<\/li>\n<li>that writers, artists, media<br \/>\ntechnicians and promoters,<br \/>\nmay be wise,<br \/>\nanimated by an evangelical spirit,<br \/>\nand give witness<br \/>\nto an authentic Christian life<br \/>\nwithin the framework<br \/>\nof social communication;<\/li>\n<li>that Catholic initiatives<br \/>\nin the sphere of social communication<br \/>\nmay continually increase,<br \/>\nso that by promoting more effectively<br \/>\ngenuine human
