Love poverty in homes! There is a certain tendency towards luxury somewhere, which is not religious poverty. Some exaggerated carpets and chandeliers, certain furniture, that certain excesses in giving gifts… they do not conform to the religious spirit! We need to be more vigilant about poverty (FSP-Spiegazione delle Costituzioni, p. 197).
