Poverty practiced according to the Constitutions: poverty that leaves everything behind, that detaches itself from everything, that uses everything for the Lord, that produces with its own work, that provides for the community, that distributes to the poor, that asks, that passes from the hands of the needy to the underprivileged and to apostolic works (CISP, p. 1149).
