The vow of poverty requires constant work, as Jesus worked in Nazareth (those who were wealthy in the family also have to work). The Bible says: «Those who do not work should not eat». Being religious, you have to put more effort in the works, in the school, in the parish works (Prediche alle Suore Pastorelle, III, 262).
