On the Sabbath before Christmas Mary brings us Jesus; on Holy Saturday, after being our co-redemptrix, she prepares us for the glorification of her Son; on the Sabbath preceding Pentecost, she invokes the Holy Spirit on the Church and on all the Apostles (PrP 7, p. 332).
