Lord, dispose of me as You please—whether You give me a long life or a short one. I abandon myself into Your hands, O heavenly Father, as You will. If You will that I be esteemed or despised: Your will be done, O Lord. If You will that I be healthy or ill—Your will be done, O Lord. (Alle Suore di Gesù Buon Pastore 1963, n. 109)
