SSP India-Nigeria: Perpetual Profession of Br. Ranjit Kujur

The India-Nigeria Province of the Society of St Paul is proud to have one more member professed perpetually in the name of the Lord. We thank God Almighty for the gift of Pauline vocation to Br Ranjit Kujur and for His continued blessings. Br Ranjit who hails from Odisha, one of the northern states of India made his perpetual profession in the community chapel of Ranchi on 24 November, 2012 during the Solemn Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Rev Fr Michael Raj, the Provincial Superior of India Nigeria Province.

The combined liturgy of the Perpetual Profession and the Feast of our Beloved Founder was concelebrated  by Fr Thomas M J, the Director of Formation; Fr Thomas Ramayil, the Delegate of the Provincial and the master of ceremonies, and other religious and diocesan priests. A large gathering of over 120 invitees included the family members of Ranjit, members of neighbouring parish community and religious congregations and our well-wishers and cooperators. Before receiving the vows, the Provincial in his inspiring homily once again reminded the candidate about the duties and responsibilities associated with this commitment and exhorted him to always look for and hold firm "Jesus the hidden treasure and the precious pearl".

The well-attended Holy Mass was followed by a felicitation program to honour the newly perpetually professed and a fellowship meal. Dear Ranjit, congratulations and best wishes on your final profession!
