Blessed are the poor, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. This bliss upsets all human thoughts. Until then it had always been said: Blessed are the rich! And Jesus says: «Blessed are the poor». Does this world conquer and deserve Paradise? The more one loves poverty, the richer one is (FSP52, pp. 396s).
