Each step we take can be said to mark for us an obligation of gratitude to God. If we breathe, if we nourish ourselves, if we have good feelings, everything proceeds from God as from the first principle. Nothing outside of God; all alone from Him; always from God… All goods proceed from Him (Pr 1, 63-64).
