How much progress in the way of perfection are made by those who, in all their practices of piety, use the Holy Bible! It gives strength and courage to overcome all the difficulties of life; enlightens doubts and uncertainties. It – as St Augustine says – “leads to God, invites us to love him, enlightens hearts…” (LS 201-202).
