The Lord wants humility; when a soul says: I am ignorant, the Lord enlightens her; when a soul says: I know nothing, the Lord puts his knowledge in her; when the soul says: I am a poor sinner, I see myself full of sins, the Lord teaches her sanctification (FSP31*, 118).
