VIII

Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem. He was received by Mary and Joseph, by the shepherds, and by the magi. He begins to teach virtue, truth, goodness. He humbles himself, becoming man to raise men and women to God. He is destined for the fall and resurrection of every person (see Lk 2:8–39).

May you be blessed, adored and accepted by everyone, O Divine Master, meek and humble of heart.
You pleased the Father. Everyone who becomes like you will be pleasing to the heavenly Father.
You are the incarnate Son; in you and through you we become adopted sons and daughters of God. You are salvation for those who accept you and condemnation for those who reject you.
