There are two roads. One is broad and easy, but it leads to eternal loss, and many follow it. The other is narrow, but it leads to salvation. Those who are wise strive to enter by the narrow gate. The first is the way of selfdetermination of thought, morals, and worship. The second is the way of sincere faith, of the Commandments, of prayer. Each person chooses (see Mt 7:13–14).

I thank you, O Divine Master, for having enlightened me.
You have never let me lack anything: neither light, nor example, nor grace.
I weep for myself and for all those who allow themselves to be lured into following the way of the world, of the passions, of the devil.
Save me! I want to follow the way of Life. Draw my heart to you.
