O Jesus Good Shepherd, Way, Truth, and Life, turn your merciful gaze on your sheep. Enlighten us with the wisdom of your Gospel, fortify us with your examples, nourish us with the Eucharist, fill us with zeal for the glory of God and the salvation of humanity.
We intend to make reparation for the offenses given to the shepherds of your Church, and thus to you, by our docility to their teaching, as well as by our zealous cooperation through prayer and those works that accord with our calling.
Jesus Good Shepherd, send your Spirit to increase in us faith, hope, and love. Infuse in us the true religious spirit; grant us the simplicity, the prudence, the fortitude, and the temperance of the apostles Peter and Paul.
Mary, Mother of the Good Shepherd, watch over us at all times, so that we may imitate you in the spiritual and apostolic life and reach eternal glory in heaven. Amen.
