Indulgences

In answer to the request of the individual Institutes of the Pauline Family, the Sacred Apostolic Penitentiary, on January 27, 1968, granted the following plenary indulgences:

Society of St. Paul and Daughters of St. Paul

1. For the whole Institute. On the following days: Solemnity of the Divine Master; Solemnity of Pentecost; Feast of Mary, Queen of Apostles; Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception; Solemnity of the Assumption; Feast of St. Paul the Apostle, Feast of St. Joseph; anniversary of the foundation.

2. For the individual houses. On the following feasts: feast of the principal patron of the house; feasts of saints and blesseds of whom the body or an important relic is preserved; at the end of a canonical visitation.

3. For the individual members: the day of entrance into the novitiate; first profession day; perpetual profession day; 25th, 50th, 60th, and 75th anniversary of first profession.

Pious Disciples of the Divine Master

For the whole Institute: Solemnity of the Divine Master; Solemnity of Pentecost; Feast of Mary, Queen of the Apostles; Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception; Feast of St. Paul the Apostle; Feast of St. Joseph; Feast of St. Bernard; anniversary of the foundation.
For the individual houses and individual members: same as for the Society of St. Paul.

Sisters of Jesus the Good Shepherd (Pastorelle)

For the whole Institute: Solemnity of Pentecost, Solemnity of Corpus Christi; Feast of the Good Shepherd; Solemnity of the Assumption; Feast of St. Joseph; Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul; Feast of St. Pius X; anniversary of the foundation.
For the individual houses and individual members: same as for the Society of St. Paul.

For the Institute “Regina Apostolorum”

The same indulgences hold as for the Society of St. Paul, with the Solemnity of Pentecost being replaced by the Solemnity of Corpus Christi.

To the Institutes of “Jesus the Priest,” “Mary Most Holy of the Annunciation,” “St. Gabriel the Archangel,” and “The Holy Family”

The same indulgences as for the Society of St. Paul are granted but the Solemnity of Pentecost is replaced by that of their respective patron (St. Gabriel and Mary Most Holy of the Annunciation), and the Solemnity of the Assumption by that of the Annunciation, for all the Institutes.

To the Cooperators and Those Enrolled in the Following Associations

“International Catholic Bible Society,” “Ut unum sint,” “Apostolate of audio visual techniques,” “Prayer, Suffering and Charity for All Vocations,” “Pious Society on Behalf of Sudden Deaths,” “Union of Christian Families,” were granted plenary indulgences on the following days: Solemnity of Jesus the Divine Master; Solemnity of Corpus Christi; Feast of St. Paul the Apostle; Feast of Mary, Queen of the Apostles; Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception; Solemnity of the Assumption and Feast of St. Joseph.

Note:
1 To gain the above–mentioned indulgences, besides the usual conditions (confession, Communion, prayer according to the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff), the resolution to be faithful to the duties of a religious must be made or renewed.
2. It must be kept in mind that only one plenary indulgence a day can be gained.
